In February 2006 I started my professional career at XDIN as Systems Engineer consultant, working within the field of mechatronics and embedded systems.

During the period of 2006-2009, I have had assignments for Teradyne Diagnostic Solutions Ltd, GETRAG FORD Transmissions GmbH, GETRAG FORD Transmissions Sweden AB and Volvo Powertrain Sweden AB.

In January 2010 I changed employer and now work as software engineer at Control Systems for Volvo Powertrain Sweden.

Mechatronics is, citing Wikipedia, "[...] the combination of mechanical engineering, electronic engineering and computer engineering. The purpose of this interdisciplinary engineering field is the study of automata from an engineering perspective and serves the purposes of controlling advanced hybrid systems. The word itself is a portmanteau of 'Mechanics' and 'Electronics'."
